What would you like to do?

Before you start...

To complete this request, you’ll need:
- Your contact details
- Proof of payment for the £25 admin fee
- A clear scan (front and back) of your most recent Retention Document or Certificate of Entitlement (PDF format)

Before uploading, please ensure the registration number of the vehicle currently on lease with us is entered in Section 1 of the certificate.

Important information

While your private plate is assigned to the vehicle, it will be registered in our name as we hold the V5. This does not affect your ownership of the plate.

If the plate is later placed on retention, we’ll guide you through transferring it into your own name if needed.

How to pay
You can pay in one of the following ways:

Visit www.paynovuna.co.uk and enter both registration numbers.
In the 'Comments' section, write: Cherished Plate Transfer.
Leave the account number field blank.

Transfer Fee
If you’d like to remove your private plate, the total fee is £105, which includes a DVLA fee. Once your payment has been made, you can submit your request below.
