To transfer your Cherished Plate from Retention (V778) /Certificate of Entitlement (V750)  to your Novuna Vehicle Solutions vehicle, we require the following 3 items:

1. Written request

Submitting this form will be taken as your written request for Novuna to carry out a private plate  transferred to or from the vehicle.

The request must come from the lease agreement holder. If you are acting on their behalf, we will need to seek authorisation from the lease holder before processing the transfer.

2. Copy of retention certificate:

Please provide a clear can of both sides of your most recent Retention document/Certificate of Entitlement. In Section 1, add the registration number of the vehicle currently held by us. As we hold the V5, you won’t have the validation character, this is expected and not a problem.

3. Payment (£25 Administration Fee):

You can pay the £25 fee in one of the following ways:

Option 1: Online Payment

1 Visit  www.paynovuna.co.uk

2 Leave the account number field blank

3 Enter both the age-related plate and the private plate registration numbers

4 Enter the amount: £25

5 Complete the billing details

6 In the “Comments” section, write: Cherished Plate Transfer

7 Proceed to payment. A receipt will be emailed to the address you provide

Option 2: Telephone Payment

Call us using the number in the signature below

Office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Whichever option you choose you will need to complete before submitting this form, and attach the receipt when prompted.

Once the transfer is confirmed, we will contact you with a DVLA document authorising the change of registration on your vehicle.

Please note:

The Private Plate will be registered under Mitsubishi HC Capital UK PLC while it is on our vehicle, as we hold the V5. When retained, the Grantee will be ourselves, however we will  post the document to you at the address you provide.

Before the end of your lease, the cherished plate must be removed from the vehicle. There is a cost involved, currently £105.

It is your responsibility to arrange this with us 6-8 weeks before returning your vehicle and to provide the plates as instructed by the DVLA.
